The proceeds from the 2008 Academy of Friends Gala support 12 local HIV/AIDS organizations. Over the past 28 years, Academy of Friends has granted more than $6.5 million to 60 organizations providing direct care and support to nearly 200,000 people annually of every race, gender and socio-economic background.
